Calling for Donations: First Gentlemen’s Project at DCON

We’re excited to announce the First Gentlemen’s Project at this year’s District Convention—a hands-on service initiative focused on early literacy for children with disabilities.

Together, we will be creating modified books designed to increase participation and engagement in reading for children with limited mobility and/or visual impairments. These specially adapted books make it easier for all children to experience the joy of storytelling and learning.

We’re calling on you to help make this project a success! Your donations (monetary only please) will directly support the creation of these accessible learning tools with the purchase of arts & crafts supplies needed to transform regular board books into books with sensory features.
