PNW Kiwanis Foundation The Pacific Northwest Kiwanis Foundation is a non-profit charitable corporation founded in 1985 and endorsed by the Pacific Northwest District of Kiwanis International:
To promote the sponsored youth groups of the Pacific Northwest Kiwanis District. These include:
Circle K (college/university students)
Key Clubs (high school students)
Builders Clubs (middle school students)
K Kids (elementary school students)
Aktion Clubs (adults with disabilities)
To assist needy persons – particularly youth
To assist worthy youth to attain vocational excellence
To aid the handicapped and disadvantaged
Specific emphasis is directed to the promotion and support of sponsored youth groups, particularly through scholarships and leadership training.
Kiwanis Foundation of Canada Our purpose is to provide financial support in many different ways including:
Promoting and providing financial support for Service Leadership Programs in all three Districts of Kiwanis in Canada (Pacific Northwest, Western Canada, Eastern Canada, and the Caribbean).
Promoting and encouraging the presentation of scholarships by Kiwanis Clubs through the Matching Scholarship Program.
Collecting funds and administering the National Disaster Relief Fund.
Kiwanis Children’s Fund We develop resources that transform the goodwill and vision of Kiwanians into programs that serve the children of the world. We focus on issues Kiwanians care about, particularly in the areas of education and literacy, health and nutrition, and youth leadership development — as well as our efforts to fight maternal and neonatal tetanus and iodine deficiency disorders.
